The game unfolds in a turn-based system, with each Jarl moving their Ship and Army across the game board using Pawns, Dice, and Playing Cards. To claim victory, players must earn a set number of Victory Points (VP) through activities like pillaging, trading, establishing settlements, and engaging in battles against opponents. The gameplay is designed for 2-4 players aged 12 and up, with each round lasting approximately 60 minutes.
