You stand before the Rooted Soul, a massive and ancient tree that towers at the edge of Anwyn Valley, drawn here by a dire call to action. For years, a toxic fog has slowly consumed the valley, and its malevolent reach is expanding ever closer to swallowing the surrounding lands. While some of you come from nearby hamlets or villages, seeking to protect your homes, others are driven by whispers of great and ancient secrets hidden within the Valley. Some of you are eager for the chance to prove your skills and bravery, while all of you share a singular resolve: the fog must be stopped before it poisons the world beyond. *Echoes of the Sundering* is a cooperative adventure for 1 to 5 players, set in an open-world where you’ll embark on a journey that spans over 30 hours. In this deck-building, narrative-driven game, players will form a party of heroes, each with unique abilities, and explore the expansive, beautifully illustrated world of Anwyn Valley through a dynamic map book. As you face perilous encounters and make impactful decisions, you’ll grow in strength, gaining new cards and powerful items that will enhance your character’s playstyle and abilities. The story will evolve based on the choices you make, ensuring that no two adventures are ever alike. The fate of the Valley—and perhaps the world—rests in your hands.
