Shifters is a thrilling solo or cooperative 2-player game where you embark on a campaign, making crucial decisions as you navigate various scenarios. Each new world presents unique challenges, forcing your team to confront and adapt to local enemies, each with their own strengths and tactics. You may fail along the way, but fear not! The "Die and Retry" mechanic lets you learn from each failure, growing stronger and more determined until you succeed. At its core, Shifters is a rogue-lite card game that introduces an innovative "Shift" mechanic. Timing is everything as you strategically place your cards on a dynamic timeline, allowing them to move one space at a time each turn. Craft your card layout to trigger powerful effects in just the right order, and when a card reaches the end of the line, it will unleash devastating special abilities. Master the art of timing—when to play, when to shift, and when to retrieve your cards—and use every opportunity to destroy the enemies that stand in your way.
