Biomes of Nilgiris is an immersive board game where players venture into India's breathtaking Nilgiri biosphere, rich with unique flora and fauna. As conservationists—whether ecologists, photographers, or citizen scientists—they strive to discover new species, address ecological issues, complete conservation missions, and earn ecology points. Players adapt to two dynamic scenarios in each game, introducing fresh concepts and objectives. They explore the vast reaches of Nilgiris, journal field entries, gain experience at the station, equip themselves with essential tools, conserve species in their habitats, and resolve ecological challenges. The game celebrates nature's wonders and the art of conservation. Set in a turn-based, mission-oriented format, players can take three of eight possible actions each turn. They travel on the modular board, explore to reveal new biome cards, journal their observations in a field guide, study to gain experience points from their notes, discover new species, equip new tools, and conserve species or biomes to earn ecology points.
