Serengeti Sanctuary is a family-friendly game for 1 to 4 players, ages 7 and up, with playtimes ranging from 30 to 60 minutes (or just 15-20 minutes in solo mode). The game’s conservation theme is brought to life with beautifully illustrated cards featuring iconic Serengeti wildlife and scenic African landscapes. As players, your goal is to grow and manage a successful wildlife reserve, safeguarding precious animals and habitats along the way. In Serengeti Sanctuary, players draft cards from a shared play area, with additional assistance from park staff members who offer unique drafting abilities. By building sets of animals, players earn points and progress on the victory track. After drafting, players strategically play their cards to boost their score, which allows them to upgrade their staff, earn valuable sanctuary tokens, and even save cards for future turns to complete higher-scoring sets. The game ends when a player reaches 50 points, with victory awarded to the highest scorer. The game offers multiple paths to victory, keeping outcomes suspenseful until the very end. Serengeti Sanctuary balances straightforward rules with rewarding strategic depth, making it a perfect light strategy game for players of all ages.
