Welcome to Cryptid Cafe: The Chef’s Apprentice! Set in the same universe as the beloved Cryptid Cafe, this game takes you behind the scenes where players become cryptid line cooks aspiring to be chefs. Before donning the prestigious white chef’s hat, you must first prove yourself as The Chef’s Apprentice. Each turn, you and your fellow players will select monstrous dishes from the main chef’s table and plate them in your tableau. Your skill in placement, preparation, and garnishing will determine how well you satisfy customer requests and earn their praise. Your cryptid line cook’s expertise will be crucial, but beware of the Kraken Chef’s challenges, which will test your abilities and separate the true chefs from the pretenders. The player who garners the most praise from customers and the resident Chef wins the game.
