Overview
In Altar Quest, players choose a hero with unique cards and equipment, then select a quest, a threat deck for enemies, and a villain deck. These decks are pre-built but can be mixed for endless combinations. Alongside the chosen threats, lurking enemies always pose additional danger. As heroes work to complete their quest before facing the powerful villain, the magical altars affect the game through "rhune" powers. Rolling altar dice alters these mystical effects, adding variety to every turn. Inspired by Street Masters and Brook City, Altar Quest offers an immersive fantasy experience, playable as a standalone game or a campaign.
