Tsukuyumi: Full Moon Down (2020)

Overview

TSUKUYUMI is a strategic board game set in a post-apocalyptic world where the Moon, revealed as the dragon god TSUKUYUMI, has collided with Earth. Players choose from five unique factions, each with distinct abilities and strategies, to compete for survival and dominance. The factions include the Nomads, former soldiers claiming the Moon’s remains; the Boarlords, intelligent boars terraforming land; the Cybersamurai, AI-controlled drones and bots; and the Dark Seed, mutated insects overwhelming with numbers. Players set up their factions, gather resources, and bid on action cards to perform various actions each round. The game consists of phases where players use action cards, generate units, collect resources, and engage in combat. The goal is to earn the most Victory Points by conquering areas and fulfilling missions. The game ends after a set number of rounds, usually 3-4.
