Oceans (2020)

Overview

Oceans is a 2-4 player strategy game where you evolve marine life over millions of years. Starting with plankton as the sole food source, you create and adapt species with unique traits to thrive in the ecosystem. Species gain and lose traits and population based on their interactions, with natural selection causing some to go extinct. You can combine traits to create thousands of unique species, resulting in a one-of-a-kind ecosystem each game. Species can be predators, scavengers, or filter-feeders, each finding their niche in the ocean food web.
