Chronicles, the second expansion to Vindication, deepens your journey to restore lost honor with added narrative and immersion. Narrative-choice chronicle cards introduce decision-making and storytelling. When you gain a card (companion, relic, etc.), another player reads a chronicle card, presenting a narrative prompt and decision, enriching your story. Decisions are recorded on new, large player sheets. Consistently embodying an attribute makes you legendary, granting a powerful ability and a tarot card to mark your progress. You’ll also face global events that alter the game state, like bandit invasions or perilous mists, offering dynamic challenges and rewards.
